For Christmas my MIL gave me the recipe for easiest and most delicious Cherry Cobbler I’ve had in a while. I’m warning you, it contains quite a bit of butter, so if you don’t like butter, just stop reading now. Also if you don’t like butter, I don’t think we can be friends. Kidding!! So here we go folks, its short and sweet, and like a delightful circus of flavors in your mouth.
Here’s how it all goes down:
3 Ingredient Cherry Cobbler
- 1 Box of Jiffy Golden Cake Mix
- 1 Jar of Williams-Sonoma Cherry Pie Filling (or any cherry pie filling)
- 1 stick of butter
Preheat your oven to 350 and spray your 9in pie dish with non-stick spray. Pour the cherry pie filling into the bottom of your pie dish. Be sure to spread it evenly in the dish. Then, sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cherry pie filling. Melt your stick of butter, and then drizzle evenly over the cake mix. Bake at 350 for one hour until golden and crumbly.
That’s it! Take it out of oven and enjoy. I put a little cool whip on mine, and since it was right out of the oven it created this wonderful creamy deliciousness over top of the cherry cobbler. It was soooo good!!
You could probably use apple pie filling or any other type of pie filling as well…oooo I think I might just try that Apple Pie Filling one today!
Leave a comment and let me know how yours turns out OR if you try it with another pie filling. I’d love to hear how it turns out.
