Freebies General

{Election Day 2012 “I Voted” Freebies}

First and foremost I hope you all plan to go out and vote tomorrow. The polls are open from 6am – 7pm here in Northern Virginia (all of Virginia actually), but here’s a link to check out what time polls are open in your area. It doesn’t really matter to me which political party you affiliate (or don’t affiliate) yourself. What matters is that you, especially women and minorities, use your right as American citizen to vote in this election. It has nothing with parties and everything to do with the fact that we (women and minorities) fought so long to have the right, so to just not go out and do it makes me so sad. I really do hope you voice your opinion tomorrow. It does count, no matter what people say.

And if you do vote, guess what??? There are freebies involved. Now keep in mind giving away items in receipt for promoting voting is technically illegal. So “technically” you don’t have to vote in order to receive these. But it’s my hope that you would WANT to vote and therefore could reap the benefits of their generosity. Here’s a quick list and if you know of any others, please feel free to add them in the comments section!

  • Starbucks When you show your “I Voted” sticker (or pledge that you did vote) you’ll receive one of their “Indivisible” wristbands which supports their Create Jobs for USA campaign.
  • California Tortilla Just show your “I VOTED” sticker to the cashier or say “VOTE” and you’ll get a free taco. Woop!
  • Z-Burger Simply walk in and show your “I Voted” sticker and you can get a free hamburger or cheeseburger. Yummmm. Z-Burger. Yummmm.

  • Boston Market If you visit the site, cast your vote, and print out the coupon, you can get a free Market Bowl with the purchase of a bowl and a drink.
  • Any other freebies you know about and want to share?!?! And will you be heading out to vote tomorrow?
