So this Thursday I’m pretty impressed with myself, I made my first free printable!! Go Megan, wooop woooop. Since I’ve been doing “Thankful Thursdays” each week I thought it would be pretty cool to have something pretty to use to handwrite my thankful thoughts. You could use them daily, once a week, keep them in a file, look back on them, completely up to you. BUT I had a lot of fun making them and hope someone out there actually likes them and wants to use them *laughing*.

There are four (4) different designs to use, all in cool aqua in color (one of my faves recently) and you can download them here. I hope you like them!!

As for giving thanks this Thursday, today I’m thankful for the freedoms we experience in this great country. These past two weeks of political conventions have shown me how extraordinary and unbelievable it is for such differing opinions to co-exist without the violence that breaks out in other countries. We truly are a great nation, filled with people who want nothing more than to make us even better. Regardless of which side of the political fence you sit on, you have to be amazed by the freedoms we experience in the good ole USA. I can’t imagine living anywhere else and I’m so fortunate to have been born in a country filled with a fantastic mix of cultures and opinions, but an overall love for this great nation. Today I am thankful I am an American! God Bless the U.S.A.

What are you thankful for the first Thursday of September 2012?

Hugs,

  1. Today I am thankful for my husband who poured me a glass (or 2) of wine while I sat on the couch and watched the VMAs .. while he put together two book shelves for our office with directions in Spanish only! And Megan.. you are sounding very much like a teacher.. making crafts for people to enjoy and inspiring people to be grateful!!! I’m so proud!

    1. Ohhh what a good man! And in Spanish? No hablo anything except English. 🙂 *laughing* I AM starting to sound like a teacher. Maybe all my teacher gal pals are rubbing off on me. I blame you guys. 🙂

  2. Today I am thankful I know you and have access to your talents, thoughts and actions through your Blog. You are one special gal!

I'd Love to Hear From You!
