{3 Ingredient Snickers Dip}

February 5, 2013

Yep, Snickers Dip. Those two words can be combined and you can have one of the most glorious dips ever created. Please note, this is not fat-free, diet friendly, or any of the above. It is created solely to make your butt fat and fulfill your craving for deliciousness. I found this recipe on Pinterest (Surprise!) and decided to give it a whirl. The recipe seemed like it was going to make a lot so I kind of changed it up a tad.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 3 full-size Snickers Bars
  • 1 tub 8oz cool whip
  • 1 8oz package cream cheese

  • And here’s what you’ll need to do:

    1. Finely chop up the Snickers bars. My scientific method of doing so you ask? I broke them up into pieces, placed them in Ziploc baggies, and smashed the heck out of them until they appeared “finely chopped” to my highly trained eyes.
    2. Then, I placed the cream cheese, cool whip and Snickers into a large bowl and combined it with my mixer on setting 2. Again, very scientific. Mostly I was just looking for it to appear “whipped” and so I stopped the mixer when it was nicely combined.
    3. Lastly, I used a spatula to put the dip into a cute little bowl and placed some mini-pretzels around the edge for serving (like the one I saw on Pinterest).

    Annnnd scene, you’re finished!

    It was goooood stuff. But here’s a little tip. I just had a few mini-pretzels covered in the delicious dip today and it was BETTER than last night. So, I think letting it sit overnight might actually help it out. The chocolate, caramel and nut flavors came out more so than they did last night and that’s my favorite part about Snickers so that may be why I liked it today more than I did last night. Needless to say, it’s good stuff.

    So try it out, let me know what you think!!
