It is almost February people! Which means, it’s almost Valentine’s Day. My husband is pretty dagon awesome about sending me love texts, emails, leaving me random love notes, etc. Soooo, I figured maybe I could show the same amount of “fun” love to him beginning February 1. Not that you should ONLY do this during Valentine’s Day, but I thought it was a great opportunity. My plan, send him one loving text, each day, up until Valentine’s Day. I would vary the times at which I send the messages AND change-up the messages I send. Super sweet right?
So then I thought to myself “That’s a fun idea to share with your blog readers, isn’t it?” So I just did. Anyhooo, below are some of the sample text messages I put together.
You should, OF COURSE, tailor the messages to your situation (kids/no kids, work, life, etc) but the gist is to tell him you love him, thank him for the little things, and really let him know you appreciate him and everything he does. Men sometimes get the short end of the stick on that one. Seems us girls are always looking for flowers and candy and little sentiments. So why not share the love with the man who loves you even when you look at hot mess in the morning?
Let me know if you do this little “exercise” – I always love hearing reader feedback.
